City Simulation – This simulation game requires you to construct a city in a virtual world and bring it to life. If you have ever played Sim City it is very much the same. It fulfils QCA requirements that pupils should know “how to use ICT to test predictions and discover patterns and relationships, by exploring, evaluating and developing models and changing their rules and values” at Key Stage 3 and “apply, as appropriate, the concepts and techniques of ICT-based modelling, considering their advantages and limitations against other methods” at Key Stage 4. It would also be applicable for Geography and Business Studies students. The game is feature packed and contains over 40MB of programming.
