Photo Renaming – Pictures taken from digital cameras often come with non descriptive file names. Suppose that you’ve grouped all the photos of a specific town in one folder (e.g. Rome ). Launch the program, open the Rome folder, and you will see all the files that it contains. You can then opt to have all the files begin automatically with for instance the folder name and date (e.g. Rome22072003 01, Rome22072003 02, etc.). Here again, there are no restrictions of any kind in the new file names, and you can enter a string of text that will occur in every one.
